APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON SUNDAY!
After a two year hiatus, the Survivor Spin-Off series is making it's return! This time, we are off to the oriental shores of the Bonin Islands. Two tribes of men and women from all around country will be forced to survive on the Hahajima and Chichijima islands, translated to the "Mother" and "Father" Islands. And with the tagline of "A Family Affair", one could image what twists and turns lies ahead in the game of outwitting, outplaying and outlasting. 22 castaways, 1 survivor!
Below is a short application that you will need to fill out. If you're interested, please make an account on this forum with a 5 digit number code. Fill out the application and PM it to me. Once the deadline (May 27th) is over, I will announce the cast with castaways pertaining to the codes. If your code shows up, you're casted!
Why applications? This is to really show your interest. This won't take anymore time than a typical challenge in this game will. So if you can't fully complete this application, you aren't fit for this game. Period.
---
1. So Survivor is upon us. Any early preparations? What is your usual game plan in Survivor? If you're new to ORGs, how are you preparing?
2. When reading the description for this game, what are you expecting? Do you have an idea of twists we may have? And if so, how do you think you can overcome them?
3. I'm assuming you're a fan of the show. What former player would you be absolutely flattered and utterly ashamed to be compared to? Why?
4. How important is Immunity to you? Do you think it's never, sometimes or always necessary? Would you ever throw a challenge?
5. Say I secretly gave you a Hidden Immunity Idol and it only lasted the first round. You're safe, but you have the opportunity to use it. Would you?
6. What is your opinion on Under the Radar game play? Is it a style of game play that can deserve a win?
7. Early in the game, you have the numbers. You can choose to take out a strong threat or a weak link. Which one would you lean toward voting out?
8. You don't have immunity, you don't have numbers and people are talking about voting you out. What do you do?
9. Would you consider yourself a leader or a follower?
10. If you could use one word to describe your role in Survivor games, what would it be?
11. What is your opinion on "Pagong-ing" the opposing tribe? (Wiping the other tribe out after merge). Do you see it as taking out the enemy or breaking potential alliances?
12. If you're sitting on the jury, would you vote for someone that completely back stabbed you?
13. If you're in the final three and won Immunity, do you take your best friend who the jury loves or your enemy that the jury hates?
14. What can you bring to the table personality wise? Leave game play and whatnot out of this, let me hear about you. What makes you interesting?
15. How active can we expect you to be in your Confessional? Any features or something out of the norm we can expect in there?
And now for some boring stuff...
1. What is your screen name?
2. Will you be playing as an alias?
3. What is your timezone?
4. What days are best for you to do live challenges?
5. What days are completely out of the question when it comes to challenges or live get togethers?
6. If you have school or work, what is your schedule?
7. How late is too late?
And finally...
Time to pick your character. Now you could put up to a total of 42 names. If you want to be extra picky, you could just put one. But keep in mind the casting for this game requires that there be 11 men characters as well as 11 women. The cast is also filled with just one castaway from each season (disregarding returning players). So please do not list returning players for seasons that have them (i.e. Fans vs. Favorites, Redemption Island)
Just put a name (or two if you don't mind playing the opposite sex) next to the appropriate season for each one.
One last thing - no duplicates from previous seasons. Make sure you don't pick a player from Niihau or New Guinea. Check these sites (or check the "History" forums) to make sure since I don't feel like listing all of them:
